Mary Beth
...after working many years in marketing land, Mary Beth decided to get in touch with her inner "scalawag." Mary Beth's inspiration came in the form of two Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers, Jack Walker and Alice Rose. These two little scalawags make her laugh and their playful escapades give her much joy. Mary Beth, in return, gives Jack and Rose a loving home, unlimited butt scratches, and their very own pet boutique filled with the yummiest treats, the funnest toys and the most delightful accessories.
"Jack"
...he's a big boy now (7) so his scalawaggin' antics aren't what they use to be. But when he was a pup, look out! Today, Jack enjoys stealing a good sock now and then and continues to spin uncontrollably at the first indication he is going somewhere (anywhere, it doesn't really matter where as long as he doesn't have to stay home). Oh, and Jack has mastered the fine art of tattling on his sister when she does something wrong -- it's a unique "whine-head-tilt-eye-roll" move that, without fail, gets his sister into trouble. Jack doesn't really know he is a dog, so please don't let on.
"Rose"
...well, what can we say about Rose? Rose knows she is a dog and loves every minute of it. Three years old, Rose is very busy all of the time and into EVERYTHING. Rose does not hesitate to dive head first into the muddiest mud puddle or splash around in the drinking water at the dog park. Her other scalawaggish habits include digging holes, counter surfing, and stealing. Yes, we are sad to report, Rose has been caught numerous times pilfering toys and treats at Scalawags. She is just a tennis ball or two away from doggie reform school. It's a good thing she's so cute!
