Conveniently located right in Lower Village Kennebunk (from Kennebunkport, just go over the bridge and take a left toward Federal Jacks), Coastal Maine Kayak offers equipment rentals as well as many guided tour options. Coastal kayaking, eco tours, sunset tours, overnight excursions are just a few of the options offered. They will even design a custom tour for individuals or groups. Coastal Maine Kayak is also your go-to place for instructional programs such as safety and rescue clinics and Maine preparatory guide courses. The Kennebunk Land Trust has over 3,400 acres of forest, fields and waterways throughout Kennebunk, Arundel and Lyman. Many of the Land Trust's Preserves offer trails for hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and limited mountain biking. Click here for property maps including trail access and parking information.
The Kennebunkport Conservation Trust has an extensive trail system and plans for considerable expansion. Trails vary in length, width, topography and use. Some are conducive to bird watching and viewing wildlife, others for hiking, biking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. All trails are limited to non-motorized vehicles.
